The Aston Martin V8 Vantage when it was launched was given the nickname 'Baby Aston' by Jeremy Clarkson, mainly because it has 2 rather than 4 seats and a 4.3 litre V8 as opposed to the huge V12's of some of the other models. What this car actually is, is an amazing sounding GT car which has all of the classic lines of all of the most beautiful Aston Martin's of it's era. The smaller and lighter V8 engine in this car is set back as far and as low as it will go, putting the bulk of the weight of the engine behind the front wheels and low enough to give the car a really neutral centre of balance and low centre of gravity. This car handles, and it handles well. The engine is free revving and the feedback it gives you in terms of exhaust note is enough to make the hair on your arms stand on end. This is every bit a real Aston Martin.
This particular car has low ownership for it's age, only 3. It has incredibly low mileage at 15,540 miles, and every par of this car is a testiment to the way it has been cared for throughout it's life. We are sure that even the tyres it came with are the original tyres, having dated them, and apart from being a little on the old side, (We are replacing all 4) they have nice even wear, with no signs of hard cornering or any hard use. Having such low mileage can often mean a servc hasn't been carried out on the dot every year, but it has a nic history for it's mileage and we have just spent nearly £6,000 with Aston Martin making sure every service item is up to date. The end result is a very low mileage Aston Martin in exceptional condition inside and out, fully serviced and prepared by Aston Martin with new tyres all round. Whether you are new to Aston Martin or have a few under your belt already, this is a lovely way to own a superb example of one of the most sought after car brand money can buy.
